Camp Features
RESIDENTIAL OVERNIGHT HORSE CAMP
The residential horse camp is an in-depth learning experience and it will give the campers exposure to a variety of interesting horse professions. Each subject will be appropriate for a wide range of ages and interest levels. These topics will give the camper a look into the equine industry with hands on experience and knowledge. This horse camp is appropriate for the camper who considers a future with horses or for the camper who really wants to indulge their passion for horse riding and quench their thirst for knowledge of the horse world.
YOUR OWN HORSE FOR CAMP
Ride and care for your own camp horse. Campers will be responisble for the complete care of one camp horse. Including:feeding, grooming, hoof care, stall care, first aide and horse health.
LOTS OF RIDING TIME
Each day will consist of two daily riding sessions of an hour or more. The week will begin with a thorough evaluation of the rider’s knowledge and skills. Lessons are based on individual riding goals and will proceed from the evaluation and be geared toward achieving those goals. The some riding sessions will involve fun events or other riding experiences, such as trail riding, bareback riding etc.
EXCELLENT EQUESTRIAN FACILITY
Our residential camps are held at the Ark.The Ark is an incredible 125 acre sanctuary for domestic farm animals and exotic animals and a complete equestrian facility.The equestrian facility includes 125 acres. covered arena, camp stables, jumping arena, dressage arenas, full cross country course and trails.
AMAZING ACCOMMODATIONS
A top of the line Bunk house includes bunks, full kitchen, 4 full baths, living room, game room,activity room with stage,and outdoor pool. MORE INFORMATION!
